Cannabinoid update: new kids on the block

When the 2018 Farm Bill legalized industrial hemp, nobody was talking about how CBD, which is plentiful in the plant, can be converted into other cannabinoids.

It's not that long ago -- a little over a year -- that Delta-8 THC was a novelty. Now it's being used in a variety of edibles, vapes, smokeables, and drinks.

Recently, we've started to see new edibles on the market containing compliant Delta-9. Delta-9 THC is the primary cannabinoid in marijuana and is illegal in North Carolina -- unless it's hemp derived and comprises less than .3% by dry weight.

As it turns out, when there's enough quality hemp available, along with some pretty smart chemists, it's possible to create great Delta-9 edible products, with 10mg Delta-9 or more per serving, that still weight in a less than .3% by dry weight and are fully legal.

The new kid on the block is HHC. We hear it's catching on and want to give it a try.

We have a few bags of HHC gummies in stock and just received shipment of 2.5 Gram HHC Disposable Carts.

We look forward to learning and sharing about HHC and quite possibly expanding our offerings in this area.
